1. Are there any handling charges or postage costs to forward my mail to me?

Your £20.00 deposit covers the cost of the Royal Mail postage ensuring we can forward on your mail. When your deposit is running low we will let you know and you can top it up, ensuring continued smooth service delivery. We charge standard postage costs as well as an additional handling fee of £0.20 per letter and £2.50 per parcel that is forwarded to you.

2. How often is your mail forwarded?

This depends on your specific needs. We can forward on your mail to you as soon as it arrives at our office, at the end of each week or at the end of each month. Alternatively, we can scan and email your letters to you with your permission and/or hold your mail for you to collect at our premises.

3. How much does it cost to forward parcels?

The cost to forward your parcels is the standard Royal Mail postage costs as well as a £2.50 handling fee, both of which will be deducted from your £20.00 deposit.

4. Once I have purchased a package, how is my mail forwarding set up?

Your account will be activated within 24 hours of you completing the following steps: filling out your account details and creating a standing order with your bank, submitting valid proof of identification and address, making payment.

5. What documents are acceptable proof of identification and address?
We are required by law to hold a copy of proof of identification and address for anyone using our Post Box Rental service. We accept the following:

Proof of identification

  • Passport
  • Driving licence (with photocard)
  • National identity card
  • HM Forces identity card

Proof of address

  • Gas or electric bill
  • Water bill
  • Mortgage statement
  • Council tax bill
  • Bank statement

1. How do I change a word document to a PDF?

Select File (Top left hand corner of your document) – Save As – Under document select the downward pointing arrow and choose the PDF option instead of Word Document – Save.

2. What is print to bleed?

Technical term that refers to printing that goes all the way to the edge of the page rather than leaving a clear border- usually used when printing a coloured background onto a white page.

3. Should I go with Litho or Digital Printing?

Litho printing is used when printing 1000 or more copies of the same file. Digital laser printing is used when the number of copies you require is less than 1000 or when the files you would like printed contain information that needs to change with every print, for example printing addressee names onto envelopes. We do not offer Litho print services.
